Last week’s Border Patrol trip was a huge success according to West Coast Eagles inaugural captain Ross Glendinning, who headed up a convoy of Eagles for the road trip to Carnarvon.

Border Patrol, proudly supported by Toyota WA, is the West Coast Eagles’ newest community program. After the success of the regional roadshow last year, Glendinning and some fellow Eagle greats were ready to do it all again in 2013.

“The community in Carnarvon were fantastic,” Glendinning said.

“With our trip leading in to the Easter weekend as well, everyone was in very high spirits and the kids at the schools were great.

“We ran some Eagles Rock My School sessions at local primary schools, and also had a community sausage sizzle event at Carnarvon Toyota.

“All in all, it was a great trip and we’re looking forward to the next one in a few weeks’ time.”

The next Border Patrol trip will take place on Monday April 15, and will see Ross and his crew head to Katanning and Albany.
