What is the current situation for 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season matches?
The 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season resumed on Thursday, June 11.
The West Coast Eagles have returned to Perth after spending rounds 2-6 on the Gold Coast, with a round 7 away RAC Derby against Fremantle fixtured for Sunday, July 19 at Optus Stadium.
The West Coast Eagles will host Collingwood at Optus Stadium in round 8 on Sunday, July 26 from 1.35pm (AWST).
Fixtures beyond round 8 have yet to be announced by the AFL.
Will fans be able to attend matches when the season re-starts?
As of Friday, July 10, the Premier has announced that the Phase 5 easing of COVID-19 restrictions will be delayed until at least August 1. This means that major venues, including Optus Stadium, can operate at 50% capacity until Phase 4 is lifted.
With a reduction in capacity now confirmed, this means that West Coast Eagles members will no longer have access to a priority sale for the RAC Derby; details of any public sales are to be confirmed.
We will face Collingwood in round 8 at Optus Stadium on Sunday, July 26 from 1.35pm (AWST), however, the reduced capacity will mean that the club cannot accommodate all members with access entitlements at a 30,000 capacity crowd. Please be assured that we will make best endeavours to accommodate as many members as we can, as fairly as we can; we will release more information in the coming week.

I want to speak to someone at the club about my membership and tickets.
For queries, our Membership Services Team can be reached on membership@westcoasteagles.com.au or (08) 9388 4566. Alternatively, you can request a call here.

I’d like to donate some of my 2020 membership fee to the club. How do I do this?
That’s amazing, thank you! We very much welcome your support of the club in this way at this challenging time, if you are willing and able to do so.
Simply complete the online form to pledge your membership; you can select from four pre-selected donation amounts (being 100%, 75%, 50% or 25%), or, you can nominate an amount of your own choosing.
The minimum amount to pledge is $50; this is the membership (non-ticketed) component of your membership.
I would like credits for matches that are played without spectators able to attend. Do I have to do anything?
No. If you are not pledging a portion of your membership or, if you don’t wish to apply for a refund, then there is no need to take any action. Your credits will be automatically applied to your 2021 membership renewal invoice once the outcome of the season is known in relation to matches played with spectators able to attend in 2020.
Do I have to donate any of my membership fee to the club?
Not at all, it is by no means expected or obligatory for you to donate any of your 2020 fee to the club. If you do not wish to do this, your membership will default to option #2, CREDIT, and you will receive credit towards your 2021 renewal for matches played without spectators in 2020. The club will retain $50 of your 2020 membership fee, which represents the non-access component of your membership.
What will happen if matches resume with spectators in 2020?
Should matches resume this season with spectators permitted to attend, the club will contact eligible members regarding their access as soon possible, noting that those who have already elected to PAUSE or CANCEL their 2020 access membership will not be entitled to utilise any access benefits for those matches.
What is the status of other West Coast Eagles events? What about school holiday clinics?
All club events and functions have been postponed until further notice. This is a measure taken to ensure the safety of players, staff, members and supporters, and is in line with recommendations advising social distancing measures be taken.
Is Mineral Resources Park still open?
Our facilities at Mineral Resources Park, including Aquila Café, are closed until further notice.
As at Monday, July 6, the West Coast Eagles Superstore is now open, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, and our online SuperStore is still operating and we will continue to fulfill online orders.
