Volunteers from the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation will be out in force on Friday night at Subiaco Oval, selling limited edition West Coast Eagles clip-on bears around the ground before West Coast’s blockbuster clash with Essendon.

All West Coast fans attending the game are urged to get behind the PMH 'Wear a Bear' campaign and lend a helping hand to the sick and injured kids of WA by purchasing a bear for three dollars. The bears will also be sold on match day by the West Coast Eagles Team Store at Gate 12, as well as outlets around the ground.

Proceeds from the 'Wear a Bear' campaign will go towards the purchase of vital equipment for the hospital. The fundraising target for this year is $200,000, a goal that will be greatly aided by the support of West Coast fans.

Over the past five years, the West Coast family has helped raise more than $160,000 for sick and injured kids in Western Australia.

These funds have helped purchase medical equipment including a patient cooling machine for the paediatric intensive care unit, an overhead warmer for the neonatal ward, a cardiac monitor for the infants ward and theming of the sensory room.
