Rock-blogger buddies!

I don’t know about you, but I love this time of year. Every week is a big game, and there’s nothing I love more than big games.

This week, we’ve got the Hawks. They’ve been the best bird in the land for a couple of years, but I think it’s about time we showed them that Eagles soar higher, don’t you think?

Jez McGovern is back this week, so that’s going to be a great big bunch of fun. I saw ‘Gov’ in the change rooms the other day and told him that if he needs any hints on flying for the ball again, then he has my number and all he has to do is ring. He was playing so well before his little hamstring injury that maybe I should ask him for advice!

Did you know that ‘Eagle’ in Italian is ‘Aquila’? This is super useful for me because it’s Multicultural Round this weekend and as part of the fun, our game will also be broadcast in Italian over at the AFL website. That’s so cool.
