I’m just about to head out and mow the centre square for Saturday’s match but I thought I’d better check in and see how everyone is. I hope your week has been thumbs-up great!
I’m doing well. Adelaide wasn’t as fun as I hoped it would be, but now that I’m back home and the sun is shining down, I’m just busy helping the boys get ready for the match against the Saints. I’ve been chatting to the coaches and we’re all pumped up to the max.
This weekend is also membership appreciation round, where the club says thank you to our fantastic members. I would like to give a special thank you to all the Rick's Rookies members - you know who you are!
It's also Auzzie the Eagle's 100th flight before the bounce this weekend. What an achievement for the ultimate big bird! To make sure you see it, be in your seat at 5:25pm on Saturday.
Are you ready for finals? We’ve missed out the past two years but now we’re back. There’s nothing like finals. The weather’s warm and the footy is crazy good. I can’t wait.
Anyway, the grass isn’t going to cut itself, so I’d better go jump into the lawnmower seat and go for a spin. Make sure you take a look at my handy work on Saturday. It’s pretty special.
