Ex-West Coast Eagles forward Lewis Broome returned to the club recently when he was in town for for Maali Football Carnival.

The Maali Football Carnival is held annually each spring, and is a chance young indigenous players to showcase their talents, and encourages them to be the best they can be both on and off the field.

Broome was representing the Looma Eagles, a team based in the West-Kimberley, and took on the Mullewa Colts in the final game of the carnival.

The Looma Eagles were formed in 1991, and last year held a celebration to recognise their 21 years in the West Kimberley Football Association, which has included three premierships.

Star Eagles ruckman Nic Naitanui was happy to see his old team mate in Broome, tweeting that it was great to see him back for a visit.
