Several West Coast Eagles players have thrown their support behind club performance analyst Harry Garland and his Rottnest Channel Swim Team.
Garland, 23, is completing the gruelling Rottnest Island Channel swim to raise funds for close friend Warrick 'Proudie' Proudlove.
'Proudie' was victim to a devastating motor vehicle accident which left him in need of constant medical care.
For the second year, Garland will swim to raise funds for his former Claremont Football Club teammate, with his team 'Swim for Proudie'.
Recognised as the recipient of the 2015 Eagles in the Community Award, Garland was thrilled to receive the support from the Eagles, to help fundraise for his mate's care and rehabilitation.
