How are my Rock-blogger pals today?
Well, the NAB Challenge is definitely underway and although we didn’t have a great day yesterday, it was awesome to see our boys run around out there. It means the season proper is just around the corner!
We had a pretty young side yesterday, didn’t we? A lot of our older players stayed back home with me, but they can’t wait to get back into our colours for our next NAB Challenge match against the Gold Coast Suns in a couple of weeks’ time. I can’t wait to get back out to the game and high five all of my little buddies. My summer break has been fun, but it hasn’t been as fun as it would have been if I was saying g’day to all my Eagles-loving mates every day.
Before I go, I have to give a big shout out to my mate Mitch Brown. As you probably know, Mitch hurt his knee last year and didn’t get to play the rest of the season. He’s everyone’s friend at the club so we were all pretty sad when he got hurt, but yesterday he went out and played his first game in nearly a year. We’re all super proud of him.
Anyway, we don’t have a game this weekend, but I’ll see you again next week as we get ready for Gold Coast.
