East Perth has 14 West Coast-listed players to choose from for its elimination final clash with Claremont, but only 12 will be able to take the field against the Tigers on Sunday.
Luke Webster and his match committee will have some tough calls to make at the selection table today with Oscar Allen and Jackson Nelson available for the do-or-die match.
Both Allen and Nelson missed last weekend’s thumping of the Thunder after travelling to Brisbane for West Coast’s round 23 fixture against the Lions.
Allen impressed against Chris Fagan’s men, collecting 14 disposals, six marks, three inside 50s and two tackles.
Nelson, the Eagles’ travelling emergency, did not play.
At this stage, the only confirmed out for East Perth is influential ruck-forward Fraser McInnes, who sustained an injury against Peel in round 21.
Earlier this week, the WAFL rejected Callan England’s bid to play in Sunday’s final.
Although the 18-year-old met the five-match qualification policy for an AFL-listed player, he had not played the necessary three league games in the last two months of the season.
