Spring heeled forward Liam Ryan is in the running to win the Round 22 Mark of the Year nomination after clunking a towering grab at the MCG on Sunday.
Ryan snuck up behind Richmond defenders Nick Vlastuin and Dylan Grimes – who were busy keep an eye on key forward Jack Darling – and soared over all three to reel in a remarkable grab midway through the second quarter.
Better yet, Ryan went back and slotted the set shot from 20m to extend West Coast’s lead to 18 points.
