Exciting midfielder Bella Lewis led from the front on Saturday, producing an impressive performance in the West Coast Eagles’ 23-point loss to the Fremantle Dockers.
It was a fast-paced and physical RAC Derby, and while the Eagles’ couldn’t stop a hot-starting Fremantle, co-vice-captain Lewis worked hard throughout the entirety of the game.
The 21-year-old finished with a game-high and equal-career-high 26 disposals, four marks, five tackles, a game-high seven clearances and 509 metres gained.
Lewis continues to be a reliable and consistent contributor in the West Coast engine room and sets the standards for her developing teammates.
