The West Coast Eagles have made four changes ahead of Saturday’s RAC Derby at Sullivan Logistics Stadium (Leederville Oval).

Exciting young midfielder Courtney Rowley will make her highly anticipated return, after rupturing her ACL in the final game of the 2023 season.

After an extensive period on the sidelines, Rowley has successfully completed her rehabilitation journey and will suit up in the blue and gold for Saturday’s clash with the Fremantle Dockers.

Former Fremantle forward Amy Franklin returns to face her old side after a stint on the sidelines with a broken finger, along with imposing ruck Sarah Lakay who has worked her way back into the side.

Defender Mackenzie Webb will make her first Eagles appearance of 2024, the Claremont product impressing on the training track and earning her spot in the backline.

Unfortunately, new recruit Jess Rentsch will miss this weeks’ clash, with scans confirming ruptured ligaments in her ankle following last weekend’s battle with the Hawks.

Rentsch comes out of the side, along with Sasha Goranova, Verity Simmons and Jayme Harken, who have been omitted.

Saturday’s RAC Derby will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy, and streamed on Kayo.
