Despite the West Coast Eagles not coming away with the four points against Port on Saturday, teen sensation Ella Roberts dominated, particularly in the first quarter, and was crucial for the home side.
Coach Daisy Pearce shared post-game that Roberts had a specific focus on her marking in the pre-season, and it’s evident that her hard work is paying off.
The 19-year-old managed a career-high (and game-high) 11 marks on the weekend, and currently sits second in the league for marks this season (35).
Roberts also finished with a game-high 27 touches, two tackles, two clearances and a goal to go with mark tally, and she continues to be an absolute pleasure to watch.
