Rising star Harley Reid claimed another individual gong at the 2024 Brownlow Medal count, taking home the Goal of the Year award to cap his remarkable debut season.
Reid’s stunning solo effort in round 10 when he took three bounces from the restart against Melbourne and broke clear of Christian Petracca before slotting a 45m major on the run was voted the year's best goal.
What an absolute ripper this was!

The 19-year-old received the Phil Manassa Medal and $50,000 thanks to NAB.
NAB also donated $10,000 to Reid’s community club – the Tongala Football Netball Club.
Reid follows in the footsteps of Eagles greats Chris Judd and Daniel Kerr by taking out the award, adding to his AFLPA best first-year player gong and Emerging Talent award at the John Worsfold Medal presentation.

Elliot Yeo polled in five matches to finish on top of the Eagles’ leaderboard with eight votes, one ahead of All-Australian forward Jake Waterman and Reid.
Tim Kelly (five) and co-captains Liam Duggan (two) and Oscar Allen (one) were West Coast’s other vote-getters.
