The West Coast Eagles have made three changes to face the Lions at Mineral Resources Park on Sunday.
In exciting news, experienced defender Sophie McDonald will play her first game of the 2024 season, having missed the first four weeks with concussion and a minor wrist injury.
McDonald has been a pillar of the Eagles’ backline and had a career-best season in 2023, nullifying a number of the competition’s best forwards.
New recruits Jayme Harken and Tess Lyons have also been recalled to the side, both making their Eagles debut earlier in the season.
McDonald, Harken and Lyons come in for Jess Hosking (quad), Jaide Britton (concussion) and Amy Franklin (finger).
Bouncedown for Sunday’s battle with Brisbane is 3:05pm at Mineral Resources Park.
