Speedy forward Jack Petruccelle is set to be available to face St Kilda, but Jeremy McGovern, Liam Duggan and Tyler Brockman will be sidelined from the Marvel Stadium clash.
Meanwhile, spearhead Jake Waterman is listed as a test due to soreness with his iliotibial band near his knee.
Petruccelle has missed the past three games with a hamstring strain but just needs to get through training to put his hand up.
“Great news for ‘Petch’, he’s missed the last couple of weeks with his hamstring, but assuming he gets through training on Thursday we’ll see him out there on the weekend,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness told westcoasteagles.com.au.
“Liam unfortunately got that head knock during the game, so he enters the concussion protocol this week so he won’t play.
“Tyler hurt his ankle during the game. He has a syndesmosis injury. We’ll put some work around that in the next couple of days and give you some more info but, again, he won’t play this week.”
McGovern returned home by driving across the Nullarbor last week after being unable to fly home from the clash with Melbourne and took part in some light training on Tuesday.
“’Gov’ from a couple of weeks ago with his ribs, he’s back running which is really good, joining in some lower-level drills and got up to some speed today,” Inness said.
“He won’t play this week; he needs another week at least.”
The Eagles will test Waterman this week at training before deciding if he flies east on Thursday.
“Jake, out of the game, has a bit of soreness around his ITB just near his knee,” Inness said.
“Nothing to do with the cut from a few weeks ago, so he will be a test later in the week to see if he can play.”
Matt Flynn (ankle) is on the comeback trail from the ankle issue he suffered against Hawthorn in round 16.
“’Flynny’s’ ankle, he’s back training, it’s taken a little bit longer than expected,” Inness said.
“He’s a test this week but he’s probably unlikely with our WAFL team not playing as well. He might get a chance to do a big session with those (players) if he doesn’t play in the AFL.”
