The West Coast Eagles will challenge Tom Barrass' one-week sanction at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday.
Barrass was cited by the Match Review Officer for rough conduct on Fremantle forward Michael Walters during the fourth quarter of Saturday night's RAC Derby triumph.
The incident was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a one-match suspension.
The Eagles travel to Gold Coast to face the Suns at People First Stadium in round seven.
Tom Barrass has been handed a one-match suspension following this incident with Michael Walters.
