The guernsey numbers of retired West Coast champions Shannon Hurn, Luke Shuey and Nic Naitanui will each have new bearers carrying on their vast legacies next season.
Ruck recruit Matt Flynn has been passed the No.25 that club games record holder Hurn wore with distinction, following confirmation at the draft that top pick Harley Reid would don the famous No.9 after it was handed over by Naitanui.
Small forward Noah Long was anointed the No.13 by Shuey after his last game, swapping from the No.44 he wore during his debut season.
Exciting recruit Tyler Brockman has landed the No.10 jumper, made famous by dual premiership player and incoming CEO Don Pyke, plus 2006 flag-winning midfielder Michael Braun and 2012 Club Champion Scott Selwood.
West Coast’s latest batch of draftees Archer Reid (No.22), Harvey Johnston (No.24), Clay Hall (No.29), Loch Rawlinson (No.36) and Coen Livingstone (No.39) have also received their new numbers.
Hall’s father, Derek, wore the No.49 in two games for the Eagles in 1993.
Meanwhile, the Eagles have confirmed midfielder Zane Trew, Tyrell Dewar and Jordyn Baker have signed one-year contract extensions for 2024.
Trew will remain on the rookie list for a fourth season, while Baker has been upgraded to the rookie list from the category B rookie list to create room for Naitanui Academy product Coen Livingstone.
Dewar will remain on the category B rookie list for next year.
