West Coast Eagles Community Engagement Coordinator James Grabski and Rick ‘the Rock’ Eagle have recently returned from a three-week tour of the remote East Kimberley region of Western Australia.

From the regional town of Halls Creek, the pair drove 1395 kilometres of predominantly gravel road to reach seven remote Aboriginal community schools and deliver the Eagles Rock My School program as well as other football and educational activities.

The magnitude of support for the club was overwhelming in these, often extremely isolated areas of Western Australia.  It was great to be able to repay that support personally by visiting these remote communities and delivering aspects of the club’s community programs.

Thanks to the Wirrpanda Foundation and Diabetes WA for assisting with resources and also to Garnduwa for their support in Halls Creek.
