The West Coast Eagles today confirmed an injection of experience for Sunday’s clash with Richmond at Optus Stadium.
Aside from captain Luke Shuey and games record holder Shannon Hurn resuming, the match committee also brought back utility player Samo Petrevski-Seton.
And earlier in the day coach Adam Simpson announced that experienced wingman Andrew Gaff would start as the tactical substitute. In the final team submitted to the AFL this afternoon Gaff was named as one of four emergencies, but he will play against the Tigers.
The other players named as the emergencies are youngsters Rhett Bazzo, Luke Edwards and Ryan Maric, one or two of whom will play against West Perth in a night fixture at Mineral Resources Park tomorrow.
