The West Coast Eagles today confirmed that their only inclusions for Sunday’s showdown with St Kilda at Optus Stadium are decorated stars Shannon Hurn and Jamie Cripps.
Hurn, who was captain of the 2018 premiership team, and Cripps, who was such an integral part of the successful forward structure, both resume.
On the flip side, bullocking midfielder Elliot Yeo (hip) and utility player Samo Petrevski-Seton (quad), both of whom are injured, have been joined by mid-season draftee Ryan Maric as exclusions from the team that lost heavily to Sydney last week.
Maric has been listed as an emergency and will compete with midfielder Xavier O’Neill, developing ruckman Harry Barnett and category B rookie Tyrell Dewar for the role of tactical substitute.
The 23rd position in the team will be confirmed an hour out from the 2.40pm bouncedown.
