Milestone man Dom Sheed did not get the result he was chasing in his 150th game, but he left nothing on the park.
The indefatigable midfielder gathered 43 possessions (22 kicks and 21 handpasses) and was highly influential, along with fellow midfielders Elliot Yeo and Tim Kelly.
Of his 43 touches, 14 were contested, he had nine marks and 10 clearances to gain 486 metres through his time with ball in hand. The loping left footer also kicked a trade mark goal from deep on the flank in the second term.
He combined with the likes of Kelly and Yeo to help the Eagles win the clearance battle 43-33 and to keep his team in the fight against overwhelming odds.
