Promising midfielder Luke Edwards has been withdrawn from West Coast's extended interchange bench for Sunday's clash with Hawthorn due to illness. 

Edwards was in the mix to travel to Launceston for the round 10 clash, but has been replaced in the 26-man squad by Elijah Hewett, who is available again following a month-long ankle injury.

The Eagles will trim their extended squad to 22 players and four emergencies - one of whom will be the tactical sub - at 3pm AWST on Friday.
