The 2023 AFLW Sign and Trade period has been confirmed to run from March 10 to March 20.
Reshaping this year’s draft will be a new priority signing period (PSP) running from March 1 to March 8.
The PSP period will allow last year’s expansion clubs (Hawthorn, Essendon, Sydney Swans and Port Adelaide) the ability to sign a PSP player before the Sign and Trade period.
A player qualifies as a PSP signing if they have played three or more AFLW seasons and a trade does not need to be completed for the player to move clubs.
The AFLW have imposed limits on how many players a club can lose via PSP based on their Season seven finishing position, meaning the Eagles cannot lose more than one player.
