After a captivating night a the 2022 season seven W awards a number of the Eagles' stars polled votes for the Best and Fairest award for their performances throughout the year. 

Rookie forward Ella Roberts also polled in her debut season of AFLW getting her first vote in round seven against Richmond.

The 17-year-old polled fourth in the Rising Star award votes earlier in the night capping off a remarkable rookie season.

Aside from Swanson’s three vote feat in round four against the Giants, Bella Lewis and Aisling McCarthy were the only other two top vote getters.

Aisling McCarthy barged out of the gates to start the season with an inspiring performance against Port Adelaide that ultimately earned her side their first win of the year.

Meanwhile Bella Lewis took her game to another level in the back half of the season earning top votes in round six against Hawthorn.

Lewis dominated in an arm wrestle of a match with a game leading 17 handballs, 9 clearances and 18 contested possessions in an agonising three-point loss.
