The West Coast Eagles have opted for consistency heading into the final round, making no changes ahead of their clash against top-two side Melbourne at Casey Fields

The Eagles will wrap up their season this Saturday at 1:10am AEDT (10:10am AWST), finishing what has been a productive year for the side that included a significant list changeover and bringing in 15 new players for season seven of the competition.

All three Rising Stars nominees have been selected in the team as Ella Roberts, Charlie Thomas and Sarah Lakay all look to cap off impressive seasons.

After a superb campaign leading her side from the front, Emma Swanson will have one more opportunity to push for a spot in the All-Australian team after averaging 17.7 disposals this season.

Key defender Sophie McDonald also has a monumental task this weekend as she makes her case for the AFLW 22 under 22 side team, facing a hugely diverse Demons’ forward line that features stars Tayla Harris and Eden Zanker.

Belinda Smith will also celebrate her 50th game of AFLW this weekend, marking her as the most experienced member of this young squad, while on the other hand midfielder Ashleigh Gomes will play in her second match after kicking a goal on debut last weekend.

Coming up against one of the competition’s best, Saturday’s clash will be a good measuring stick to see how far West Coast has come this season .

Beth Schilling, Imahra Cameron and Ella Smith will also all travel to Victoria as emergency replacements for round 10.
