Some of the youngest West Coast Eagles members visited Mineral Resources Park last week, to take part in the Rick’s Rascals play date.
The club’s Indoor Training Field was transformed from an elite football facility to a treasure trove of games and activities for toddlers, giving members aged 2-4 years old the opportunity to run amok within the West Coast Eagles inner sanctum.
The youngsters enjoyed practising their football skills with the West Coast Eagles fairies and club mascot, Rosie, in the very same training hall used by their favourite footballers.
Throughout the morning, the fairies also led a range of fun activities, such as parachute games and freeze.
Other activities included a ball pit, balancing beam, tunnel crawl and hula hoops, as well as less energetic pursuits such as colouring in and building blocks.
Most of the children even had West Coast Eagles temporary tattoos applied.
After an hour of running, dancing and jumping around, the annual Rick’s Rascals event was over and it was time for the young members to head home.
Rick’s Rascals membership is the perfect package for toddlers and is now available for the 2023 season. Learn more here or contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566.
