Veteran defender Jessica Sedunary will return for round seven’s clash against Richmond at Mineral Resources Park under lights on Friday.
The former premiership Crow has been out of action since round four’s win against the Giants, when she left the field during the second quarter with a calf injury.
Sedunary’s inclusion is one of three changes for West Coast, with Hayley Bullas and Isabella Simmons also returning to the side.
One of the more experienced Eagles, Bullas has made 26 appearances for the side with her most recent being in round three against Essendon.
Skipper Emma Swanson told the media earlier in the week that pressure will be key to the Eagles’ success on Friday night, and Bullas will add some strength around the contest.
The team also welcomes back Simmons who will add an injection of height into the defensive line.
Standing at 184cm, Simmons is a versatile young player who made her debut for the club in round one following a move from the Demons.
Swan Districts product Abby Bushby has been impressive since her debut against Fremantle in round five but will miss this week’s clash due to personal reasons.
Defenders Beth Schilling and Emily Bennett have also been named as emergencies this week.
The Eagles will be chasing their third win of the season against Richmond this Friday and hoping to break a four-match winning streak by the Victorian club.
