The West Coast Eagles have informed hard-running wingman Patrick Naish that he will not be offered a contract for the 2023 season.
Naish, who moved interstate late in pre-season to secure the last place on the list in the supplementary selection period last season, played 11 of 12 games at the front half of the year but was unable to work his way back into the team after the mid-season bye.
Football Manager Gavin Bell thanked Naish for his contribution during a difficult campaign.
“Patrick came to us at a very difficult time and made a solid contribution to the club at senior level and with the WAFL Eagles,” Bell said.
“He was a popular member of the squad, made some lasting friendships and we wish him every success with the next opportunity that comes his way.
"We wish Patrick well in his future football endeavours and thank him very much for answering and committing to a very late call up in 2022."
