West Coast defender Jessica Sedunary has recovered rapidly from her calf strain and could be available to face Hawthorn on Friday.

The 31-year-old felt a grab in her calf accelerating into a contest during the second quarter of round four and ultimately left the field for the remainder of the match.

If she gets through training his week Sedunary will be a chance to return for the Eagles’ upcoming road trip against Hawthorn.

“Jess is travelling well after her calf strain against Greater Western Sydney,” Salisbury said.

“She will be a test later in the week to play against Hawthorn.”

Defender Beth Schilling will also be tested for selection after showing positive signs with an ankle injury she sustained at training.

Stepping on a teammates boot during captain’s run, Schilling ultimately missed the Giants and Dockers clashes.

“Schilling’s ankle injury is travelling really well and she is progressing through rehab really quickly, she will also be a test for later this week,” Salisbury said.

In the wake of the RAC Derby, defender Eleanor Hartill has recovered well from a small cork she received in a collision.

Hartill left the field following a huge bump on Fremantle’s Megan Kauffman only to return to the action shortly after.

“Hartill had a right quad cork against Fremantle at the RAC Derby, she has recovered well after that and will be okay to play after a good week on the track,” Salisbury said.
