The Eagles Rock My School program has enjoyed another successful period, visiting countless schools across Western Australia.
Presented by Hawaiian, the values-based program, which teaches the importance of respect, community and living a healthy lifestyle, raised the bat this term visiting over 50 schools so far and are still going strong moving towards the end of Term 3.
Our West Coast Eagles Mascots, Rick and Rosie the Rock haven’t been far away from the action accompanying the team and playing a vital role in conveying messages to students and having a bit of fun of course.
The program has travelled to regional areas including the Pilbara, Goldfields, Great Southern, South-West and the remote region of Wiluna which is a 6-hour drive from Kalgoorlie and the home to our team namesake the Wedgetail Eagle participating in our program.
Victoria Park’s Carson Street School was a highlight for the team, seeing smiling students with a variety of disabilities enjoy the program, making everything the team does rewarding.
As the school term comes to a close, the team would like to thank the teachers for their ongoing support.
