West Coast Eagles junior members had the chance to attend not one, but two exciting events during the July school holidays.

The fun headed down south in week one, for the Junior Member Coaching Clinic held at Lou Weston Oval in Busselton.

This was the first time the club had taken a junior member event to the regions and the clinic was well-received by local Eagles fans, with almost 90 kids from the South West– plus some on holiday from Perth! – making their way to the footy field.

The young fans, many dressed in their best blue and gold outfits, had the chance to take part in a number of different games and activities led by West Coast Eagles staff.

The club’s newest mascot, Rosie, also made a surprise appearance, causing mischief and helping the members practise their football skills.

The second week of the holidays saw 120 junior members take over indoor trampoline park BOUNCE in Cannington.

Energy levels were high as the children jumped, ran and climbed throughout the centre, enjoying all the activities that BOUNCE has to offer.

The West Coast Eagles fairies were onsite to provide blue and gold face painting, but the highlight of the afternoon was undoubtedly the special appearance from a group of West Coast Eagles players.

Junior members were delighted to meet some of their favourite AFL players, including Liam Ryan, Jake Waterman and Zac Langdon, and there were plenty of selfies taken and autographs signed.

The West Coast Eagles would like to thank the junior members who joined us at the two holiday events; we hope to see everyone next time.

There is still time to sign up as a Junior Eagles member for 2022, by visiting the website or phoning the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566.
