West Coast midfielder Elliot Yeo will miss the WAFL Eagles' clash with Claremont this Saturday after accepting a one-match suspension for striking by the WAFL Match Review Panel.

Yeo was reported for striking Swan Districts’ Aiden Clarke while playing for the WAFL Eagles at Steel Blue Oval last Saturday.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.

Under the table of penalties, the offence was classified as a two-match sanction, but reduced to one match with an early guilty plea. 

The WAFL Eagles should be boosted by the returns of star small forwards Willie Rioli and Liam Ryan from hamstring strains for the Claremont match.
