West Coast fans have once again demonstrated their generosity with the 2012 Eagles in the Community Raffle.

Over the past seven years, Eagles supporters have donated almost two million dollars to the raffle, which funds community programs across Western Australia.

Taking out the major prize for 2012 was 20-year member Terrence from Geraldton, whose wife was in a state of shock when finding out he’d just won a car and holiday package to the value of $50,000.

And trip to the coffee shop had an unexpected surprise for Barbara from Rockingham, when she received a call on her mobile to say she’d won second prize in the raffle, $15,000 cash.

Fifth prize winner Craig from Caversham was also thrilled with his $3,000 Stratco voucher, the prize allowing Craig to update his roof guttering.

The Eagles in the Community Raffle provides vital funds that help the club support grassroots football and coordinate healthy lifestyle and education programs including Eagles Rock My School (‘ERMS’), West Coast Eagles High School Program, Eagles Cup and Eagles Faction Footy.

The funding has also provided resources for the club to connect with fans in country areas, with the ‘ERMS’ program visiting schools across rural Western Australia in 2012.
