Fourteen-year-old Oliver Lim was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) at 19 months of age, which affects his hair, skin, blood and brain.
The Little Telethon Star has undergone different treatments including chemotherapy, as well as multiple hospital visits due to his condition.
On Saturday morning, Oliver was invited to Mineral Resources Park for a facility tour and AFLW training run, and was overjoyed considering he's a long-time Eagles fan.
Oliver began the day by making a speech in the AFLW team meeting alongside coach Michael Prior, followed by a main training session on the oval with the squad.
Despite his condition, the youngster boasts an inherently positive attitude, and had a smile on his face for the entirety of training.
AFLW coach Michael Prior said it was a fantastic day and enjoyed by all.
"It was a great initiative to get Oli out on the park, you could tell he had a great time," he said.
"He started off by taking charge in the team meeting and gave a pre-training coaches speech, the girls loved having him there.
"It was such a good day and he definitely brought even more positivity to training."
