A prolific ball-winner and piercing left-foot kick, Sheed has evolved into an important midfield leader at West Coast. Coming off a 2022 campaign all-but wiped out by an ankle issue, Sheed was again frustrated by setbacks last year after he suffered a fractured larynx from a training accident and then missed the final four rounds with a foot concern. The Kalgoorlie product played some superb football at times, including in his milestone 150th match when he continued his love-affair of playing Collingwood, and piled up an equal career-high 43 disposals in round 12 at Optus Stadium. Sheed was named runner-up in the John Worsfold Medal in 2021 and was awarded Life Membership in 2023.
