One of the most important RAC Derby battles in years has been locked in for a 3.10pm bouncedown this Sunday at Optus Stadium.
With both West Coast and Fremantle fighting it out for a spot in the lower reaches of the top eight, the round 22 clash – a Dockers home game – will have significant ramifications for the finals race.
The seventh-placed Eagles can guarantee a seventh-straight finals campaign by winning both their remaining games against Fremantle and Brisbane.
West Coast will also be aiming to extend its RAC Derby winning streak to 12 games after a 59-point victory over Fremantle in front of empty stands in round seven.
The Eagles hold a 32-20 overall win-loss record against their crosstown rivals.
Sunday's match will be broadcast live on Seven in Perth, and via Foxtel and Kayo.
