Speedy forward Jack Petruccelle will return from a hamstring twinge as the fifth inclusion for Sunday’s huge clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Coming off the bye, the Eagles have regained skipper Luke Shuey (hamstring), Jeremy McGovern (knee), Tim Kelly (knee), Brad Sheppard (concussion) and Petruccelle following lay-offs.
Sheppard and Petruccelle were only sidelined for one game – the epic against Richmond – while Shuey will make his first AFL appearance since round three after coming back via the WAFL last Saturday.
McGovern has been out since the win over Adelaide in round nine, while Kelly went down awkwardly and was subbed out of the round 11 defeat to Essendon.
Emerging onballer Luke Edwards has held his spot on the bench after two highly-encouraging performances since his debut, alongside mobile forward Jake Waterman and versatile backman Josh Rotham.
Tough nut Jackson Nelson is among the unlucky omissions for the first time this season after keeping a close eye on Tigers superstar Dustin Martin last outing.
Small forwards Zac Langdon and Jamaine Jones have also been squeezed out and are emergencies, along with big man Nathan Vardy and Nelson.
One of that quartet will be named medical sub an hour before the 1.20pm bouncedown at Optus Stadium, in what will be champion forward Josh Kennedy’s 250th game in blue and gold.
