Last time they met: The Eagles have yet to play St. Kilda in the AFLW.
What it means for the Eagles: The side showed their trademark resilience in last weekend’s match against Richmond, narrowing the margin to one goal in the fourth quarter after a 22-point deficit. Carrying this form into Sunday and finishing the season with a third win would only further consolidate a season of growth and development for the youthful squad.
Key stats: Amber Ward was a brick wall in defence for the Eagles last round and helped provide plenty of rebound. Her career-high 22 disposals was double her previous best effort of 11, which the North Adelaide product achieved three times previously this season.
Eagle to watch: Mikayla Bowen
Watching Mikayla Bowen’s development this year has been exhilarating with the 19-year-old receiving the round five Rising Star nomination.
The classy midfielder is currently topping the Eagles’ charts in disposals as well as total marks. She is also second on the list in score involvements and kicked two goals in the last round.
Bowen's pacey midfield work will important again with West Coast missing some big guns in the engine room.
Big call: Irish product Grace Kelly finishes the season strong with three goals and 15 disposals in her best AFLW match to date.
