Nineteen-year-old Mikayla Bowen stunned in an incredible performance against the Suns on Sunday.
The midfielder put on an absolute clinic, taking home 21 disposals, seven marks, and the match-winning goal.
The display assisted in the side’s first win of the season – an impressive feat in the Eagles’ second home game of the year.
Bowen has been with the Eagles since their AFLW inception and is a class act, with consistent clean skills and breakaway speed.
The Number One Draft Pick comes from Swan Districts, where she won a Best and Fairest in 2016 and also captained the side to a premiership in 2017.
Bowen has also represented Western Australia in the AFL Women’s Under 18 Championships, which she captained in 2019.
As well as this, the gun midfielder has also been named in the All-Australian side.
