Two iconic brands will unite in 2021 with Audi Centre Perth aligning with the West Coast Eagles in an exciting new partnership.
The luxury vehicle dealer will have a presence on both the club’s on and off-field apparel – on the upper back of the playing jumper and on the sleeve of the coaches and players’ polo shirts.
While it is a new relationship, it also represents a reunion with Audi Centre Perth Director Bronte Howson and the Eagles. Mr Howson has been a long-serving and revered president of WAFL club East Perth, including the period between 2014-18 when the Royals were aligned to the Eagles.
Under that arrangement the West Coast players not selected for AFL duties filtered back to the Royals and represented them in the WAFL competition.
The relationship between Mr Howson and West Coast Eagles chief executive officer Trevor Nisbett was a key plank in that partnership, having worked so closely together during the alignment period.
The synergies between Audi Centre Perth and West Coast do not end there, with each of the partners committed to sustainability programs – Audi through its range of all-electric e-tron vehicles and the Eagles through their ‘re-think your waste’ program.
“Audi Centre Perth is synonymous with success, and the West Coast Eagles are no different”, Mr Howson said. “There is a strong level of connection, both on a personal and a business level.
“Both brands also have a strong focus on sustainability, it’s a perfect partnership, one built on sustainability both on and off the field.
"Following last year’s launch of our first all-electric vehicles, the Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback, this year we are excited to introduce the hugely anticipated premiere of Audi’s new electric performance car spearheads – the Audi e-tron GT quattro and the RS e-tron GT. These two models mark a historic new chapter for Audi in Australia, and it’s just the beginning.”
Mr. Nisbett is also excited about partnering with Audi Centre Perth.
“Bronte has a long history supporting WA football and we certainly grew closer though our partnership with the East Perth Football Club,” Mr Nisbett said. “We are proud to be promoting such a premium brand and aligning Audi Centre Perth with our club.”
The West Coast Eagles will be connecting Audi Centre Perth with our members and corporate partners and as part of the celebration of the partnership will give away a stunning new Audi e-tron 50 quattro Sportback with the competition launching across 96FM and Channel 9 over the weekend.
