Inspired by the club's work in Cambodia, a team of player mothers decided they would like to continue the West Coast’s community work in the struggling country.

The West Coast mums (referred to as MOPs, standing for "Mothers of Players") include Aileen Glass, Mary Cox, Anne Embley, Kathy Lynch, Desley Mackenzie, Pamela Stratford-Butler, Monica Masten, and Sharon Priddis.

So far, the MOPs been volunteering at Missionaries of Charity and Sunrise Children's Village.
