Every year a number of visits are made by West Coast players to PMH with the players taking time out to meet patients from a number of different wards.
West Coast’s PMH player ambassador Matt Rosa said it was inspirational to see how positive the kids were despite many having to spend their Christmas in hospital.
"It’s always great to get down here and see the smiles on their faces," Rosa said.
"Spending time with them and hearing their stories makes you realise just how brave some of them really are."
Since 2005, the West Coast Eagles has been a proud partner of the PMH Foundation, helping to raise more than $170,000 for sick and injured kids in Western Australia.
These funds have helped purchase vital medical equipment including a patient cooling machine for the paediatric intensive care unit, an overhead warmer for the neonatal ward, a cardiac monitor for the infants ward and theming of the sensory room.
