The West Coast Eagles would like to thank the club's amazing members, supporters and fans for helping to raise a record-breaking amount for the David Wirrpanda Foundation at Sunday’s Indigenous Round match.

Proudly supported by BHP Billiton, Sunday’s clash against the Bulldogs showcased the invaluable work of the David Wirrpanda Foundation in supporting WA’s indigenous youth.

Limited edition David Wirrpanda Foundation footballs and caps were exclusively available around the ground before the match and from the West Coast Eagles Team Store, with all proceeds going straight to the foundation.

Volunteer tin-shakers from BHP Billiton were also positioned around the stadium taking donations.

With some astounding generosity from West Coast match-goers, the foundation hats and footballs were snapped up and the BHP Billiton donation tins were filled to the brim.

Furthermore, BHP Billiton generously offered to double the amount raised by their volunteers on the day as part of their “Matched Giving” program.

Once again, West Coast supporters, together with the club's principal community partner BHP Billiton, have proven their incredible generosity and have made an invaluable contribution towards the success of Indigenous Round.
