West Coast’s round eight opponent has been revealed, with the Eagles set to face Victorian heavyweight Collingwood on Sunday, July 26
It means West Coast will then take on the other current Perth hub team, Geelong, in round nine - although details for that contest are yet to be locked in.
Hawthorn and Carlton will be the next two teams to travel west to quarantine and play each other at Optus Stadium in round nine before facing West Coast and Fremantle.

The Eagles’ clash with the Pies will be their first home match at Optus Stadium since hosting Melbourne in round one back in March.
Bouncedown is scheduled for 1.35pm (AWST) on July 26, with a maximum crowd of 30,000 fans allowed to attend while Phase 5 COVID-19 restrictions remain in place until at least Saturday, August 1.
Ticketing arrangements for the match are yet to be finalised, however the club will email eligible members once information is known.
After five games in Queensland to restart the season, West Coast will return to Optus Stadium this Sunday at 4.35pm (AWST) for the only RAC Derby of the season, which is a Fremantle home game.
The Eagles and Dockers have both won their past two games, with West Coast (3-3) sitting 11th on the ladder and Fremantle (2-4) in 14th position under new coach and ex-Eagles assistant Justin Longmuir.
