Hey Josh,
Epic performance by all the boys on the weekend. Great to see you operating like the comfortable, confident and competitive team that we were last season (onwards and upwards).  My question is about Brad Dick, based on the fact that you would have to be pretty close to him, being aligned with the same WAFL club as him and so forth. I am just wondering if there are any in-house rumours there at the Eagles nest as to when he might get a call up?  By all accounts he has more than proven his ability at the East Freo Sharks kicking eight goals on the weekend?! Would be keen on your thoughts on him, as well as learning of any rumours. All the best for the upcoming match against Brisbane hey.
Luke

Yeah Luke, Dicky is in great form. Injury has set him back a bit and for him now it's about getting some consistency and building up games and then he will be right out there where you and me both want him!

Hi Josh,
I always see heaps of photos on twitter and instagram of the boys out having coffees at various cafés around town. What is your favourite café and what is your favourite way to have your coffee? Good luck for another win against Brisbane on the weekend!
Cheers,
Alison

Well Alison I don't drink much coffee these days. I used love a long mac, but now I settle for green tea instead haha. Maybe not manly enough, but I enjoy the herbal teas a lot more. A great coffee place is Piccolo’s Corner in West Leedy.

It was a big win last week, congratulations. Do you think the team can roll on from here? D. Kerr doesn't look the same player this year, what's wrong?
Vince

Kerrey has had a limited pre-season and is probably not in the same form he has been in the past, but he brings so much to the team without even getting touches. He is playing his role for the team and is right where he’s supposed to be. He’s out this week with a knee problem, which will have to be managed for probably the rest of the season, but it’s nothing major and he should be back next week. I’m looking forward to rolling on mate. I think this next part of the year is really exciting with all the boys back in action!

Hi Josh,
Melissa and I are Eagles fans based in Melbourne and we want to know how you think we will go against Brisbane Lions at the Brisbane Cricket Ground? Great game by Jack Darling last Sunday. Great to have Nic Nat back and to have Sharrod Willingham at the Eagles. Sharrod played a great first game last Sunday as well.
Jason and Melissa

Yeah it was great to see Nic Nat back and Sharrod is a terrific player. I can't wait to see him play more! The Brisbane ground will be fun to play at as usual and as long as we play four quarters of our brand of football, we will get the result.

Hey Josh,
Do you think the AFL season is too long, or are you happy with the way it is? What do you think about just playing each team once and cutting it short? Very interested in your thoughts mate.
All the best,
Adam

I think the season is fine. Playing each other once would be too short I reckon! The season at the moment I think works well and makes a fantastic event to watch over 26 weeks of the year.
