Sup everyone! Hope you’re all great this week and ready for a win on the weekend.

Yeah that’s right, I said it. We’re ready for a win. No, I’m not assuming or jumping to conclusions or anything like that. I just think we had a bit of a rough start to the season and this weekend it’s all going to turn around.

Last Sunday was disappointing. I thought we may have pulled through and gotten on top of the Hawks. But sadly it was not to be. Now I’m not one to make excuses, we are a team and we are not all about just one or two players. BUT having said that, we were without a lot of key players. And when you’re coming up against a quality side like Hawthorn, having our best 22 out there would make all the difference.

But I feel our luck is going to change this weekend, guys. I think we’re going to walk away with the four points. I feel bad for saying so, because I do feel for the Dees. (I am such a compassionate bird). We’ve been there, we’ve been struggling, down and out and all the rest. So we know how they feel.

But there is no room for empathy on the footy field! My kindheartedness for Melbourne ends as soon as the ball bounces down on the ‘G. Because then we’re going to rip them to shreds.

And I am giddy with excitement with today being team selection day, because my boys LeCras, Kerr and Mackenzie all up for selection. If our team comes out this afternoon and their names are on it, I might wet myself.

So guys, it’s been a tough few weeks. Not a great start to season 2013, but hang in there, because I know our boys are going to pull through for us and get the win this weekend.
