Embley and Shuey cook-off for a cause
The two midfielders headed to the Australia's Biggest Morning Tea launch to test their culinary skills.
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is an annual campaign by the Cancer Council WA, which sees friends, family and colleagues come together to enjoy delicious food whilst helping for those affected by cancer.
To get into the cooking spirit of the campaign, Embley and Shuey took part in a live cooking demonstration for guests where they prepared the signature dish of Embley’s restaurant, Beluga – lamb shoulder.
A walk in the park for Embley, however Shuey’s cooking abilities may have left something to be desired.
“Well I’ve taken the reins a bit,” Embley said.
“I don’t know if Luke’s talents extend in to the kitchen. Best he sticks to footy I think.”
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea encourages thousands of people all over the country to host morning tea events, with this year celebrating the 20th anniversary of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.
“It’s a great initiative, especially for those who really love their food and their cooking. So why not do it for a good cause,” Embley added.
