“We’re the Eagles, the West Coast Eagles!”

Sorry guys, got caught up in singing the team song, again! What a win!

Gaff, Shuey, JK, Hurn, Priddis, Ezy, Nic Nat, everyone was just on fire! It was a pretty big deal to beat the Crows in Adelaide and really important for us to get a win away from home. It does get a bit tiring traveling every second week, but a win makes it more than worthwhile!

The boys played so well and it’s really a reflection of all of the hard work they’ve done this season. It’s all starting to come together. 

Enough glory-bathing, it’s onto the Pies!

Boy it was a tough tussle in round 10 when we played Collingwood earlier. So tough that Elliot Yeo’s teeth got knocked out! We were in it all the way until stumbling at the final hurdle, the Magpies getting the four points.

Despite losing some key players (Selwood, Rosa, Yeo) since then, I think we’re a better team and our A-graders are playing better footy. Collingwood have been inconsistent throughout the winter and in my opinion, Sunday’s game will be a battle of nerve and professionalism – whichever team can keep their cool will and use the footy wisely will win the contest.
