West Coast Eagles defender Will Schofield says he expects the Gold Coast to tackle the Eagles head on this Saturday night at Domain Stadium.
Last season, the young Suns outfit came from six goals down at three-quarter-time to nearly pinch the points from the Eagles.
Schofield says the Gold Coast has been playing good football over the last few weeks and thinks they will come out with all guns blazing on Saturday night.
“They’ve got a good, young list like we do, and they’re pretty exciting when they’re up and about,” he said.
“So we’re going to have to be right on our game to take it up to them.
“I expect them to be up and going and really take us on.
“They played us here last year and very nearly beat us in that last quarter.
“I’m expecting them to take us right on.”
